The Lebanese people often consider their country as the most beautiful in the world… Lebanon certainly embraces numerous natural landscapes that should absolutely be discovered.

The touristy activity is one of the major resources in the country. Many organizations and decision makers in this sector have realized how important the use of Lebanon’s natural heritage is in order to attract tourists and protect them at the same time by the means of ecotourism. Thus, the Cedar Land adopts a global tendency: ecotourism and rural tourism are acquiring an international popularity. The concern of environment protection is growing, and ecotourism is the ally of the country’s discovery and natural heritage as well as the local communities which culture and development are respected.

Therefore, what can Lebanon offer in terms of ecotourism? This report indicates some of the most beautiful Lebanese sites and natural reserves that must be preserved and mentions the activities that are particularly related to a responsible tourism.
