Two young Lebanese American University graduates started working on a new live statistics program in the beginning of 2007. From their "Fusion Media Labs" situated in Jbeil, they worked nonstop to finish their vision of "Woopra". After a year of hard work, Elie Khoury and Jad Younan came up on March 30th with "Woopra" a real-time Web analytics platform.
Woopra is a live statistics program that allows you to know what is happening on your blog every second. It provides the webmasters with live data about the visitors and what they are exploring on the site, in other words it tracks every move they make. Woopra can also link you live to the visitors of your blog through a live interaction, and offer them help or any service through an active chat. It is a real revolutionary breakthrough in technology as it interacts with the visitors and the webmasters.
Prior to the launching of
Woopra, Elie Khoury and Jad Younan sought for a partner to finance and market their program, John Pozadzides was the one, a well experienced Director and Vice President of two major multi-national corporations (SAWIS and Cable & Wireless).
Later on, tens of thousands of bloggers and webmasters signed up and admired the idea of Woopra when John Pozadzides introduced it in the Dallas WordCamp 2008 event.
Due to the rapid growth of Woopra's market demand, Layered Technologies and 3Tera provided 100 Grid-Servers to Woopra in order to assist it before its official launching by the end of 2008.
