BEIRUT – The Lebanese national football team ended the games leading to the playoffs of the World Cup 2010 (South Africa) just as they began it: with a defeat.

Yesterday, Lebanon lost at Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut in front of Singapour with a score of 2 to 1, during a game with no issue. The two teams were not qualified for the next round. Lebanon should quickly turn the page and prepare for the qualifications of the Asian Cup 2011 that will take place in Qatar.
