BEIRUT - The Lebanese cultural league society in the world honored the musical composer and artist Marcel Khalife and the federal deputy in the Canadian Parliament Maria Marouni who is originally from Lebanon under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Fawzi Salloukh on Friday 15th of August in UNESCO Palace.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Fawzi Salloukh spoke in the occasion and considered: “the invitation to be a blessing from the Lebanese Cultural League Society in the world and to meet today, with all pride, to honor two personalities of great refinement…It is a great honor for me to be part of this occasion of rich glory and achievement”. Salloukh then spoke of the two personalities whom are being honored and of their glorious achievements abroad and what an honor they are for Lebanon.
