The Rashaya Organization for Art and Culture organized a ceremony to pay homage to Mrs. Leila El Soleh, the former Minister of Industry and the Vice-President of Al Walid Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation. Mrs. Soleh was elected “Woman of the Year” in view of her role on the national level. The ceremony took place at the Headquarter of the Foundation in Riad El Solh, Beirut in the presence of the artist Chawki Dalal and a number of presidents of educational, sports, cultural, and health associations as well as the NGO directors.

The speeches insisted on the humility, helpfulness, and kindliness of Mrs. Soleh who was engaged to serve the Lebanese community. Furthermore, they thanked Al Walid Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation that helped a number of municipalities as well as educational, social, and health institutions during difficult economic times.

On her turn, Mrs. Soleh thanked the organizers of the ceremony, considering that this homage will make her more responsible towards the society. To add up, she promised to initiate new development projects to support the society since she views these acts as sacred duties.
