BEIRUT- Marada Movement leader Sleiman Franjieh met with Change and Reform bloc leader MP Gen. Michel Aoun in Rabieh, and stated following the meeting that, “Aoun is working on regaining Christian rights, while some believe that he has taken their rights to himself”.

Franjieh defended the attacks that have been launched against MP Aoun saying that he fought with honor and now holds an honorable friendship with the syrian as for his visit to Damascus has no negative effect on the upcoming 2009 parliamentary elections.

Franjieh also responded to Geagea proposal of a having a Swiss defense strategy saying that we need to know first the fate of the Palestinian refugees and the Shebaa Farms before negotiating the Lebanese Forces’ proposal. Franjieh also said that they are working with the Lebanese president Michel Sleiman on a visit to Bkirki.
