BEIRUT- In an interview with New TV on Friday, Change and Reform bloc MP Abass Hashem stated that, “Head of ‘Democratic Gathering’ MP Walid Jumblat lead the battle in securing the election of Antoine Kheir and Zaghloul Atiyeh to the Constitutional Council”.

On the other hand Hashem said that there are attempts to sabotage the Doha agreement or prepare a coup d’état against it. However Hashem concluded that the circumstances that led to the Taif agreement are no longer the same to be applied and called to reconsider this accord.
