Marwan Hamadeh: "There is no difference between Israel and Syria"
iloubnan.info - September 06, 2008

BEIRUT - MP Marwan Hamadeh from the Democratic Gathering stated to LBCI on Friday that there is no difference between Israel and Syria; Israel invaded Lebanon from the south and Syria from the north, claiming that the Syrian President offended the Lebanese president Sleiman when he asked him to send army troops to Tripoli in order to end the conflicts on the streets.

Hamadeh judged that the nonstop clashes in Tripoli were only a trigger to weaken the 14th of March alliance, adding that there will be no association with Iran nor Turkey or any of the Arab. However Hamadeh assured that the 14th of March movement doesn't wish to harm relations between the Syrian and the Lebanese President Sleiman.

Finally Hamadeh affirmed that all parties would be represented in the coming discussion and dialogue and that the Lebanese-Syrian relations should consider a higher council's work.
