Mneimneh: Sleiman seeks to protect Lebanon and support it economic sector

BEIRUT – Education Minister Hussein Mneimneh stated on Saturday that the visit of President Michel Sleiman to Saudi Arabia came amid of an encouraging period. He said it was part of the current reconciliations between Ryadh and Damascus and amid of a very delicate regional situation.

The minister told LBC channel that Sleiman would discuss Saudi officials the Arab summit, peace process and Arab reconciliations. He signaled that the President was seeking to protect Lebanon politically and obtain an economic support for the country, through his diplomatic travels.
