Tohmeh: Sleiman’s Riyadh visit is to bolster support for Lebanon

BEIRUT- Democratic Gathering bloc MP Nehmeh Tohmeh issued a statement on Friday that President Michel Sleiman’s Saturday visit to Saudi Arabia is to bolster Riyadh’s support for Lebanon.

Strengthening Arab rapprochement and enhancing special relations with the kingdom will result in increased support for Lebanon, said Tohmeh, adding, “Riyadh helped Lebanon and its people, regardless of their sects, in their time of need.”
