BEIRUT- Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun’s visit with Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt in Mukhtara on Saturday will not be a reconciliation meeting, As-Safir newspaper on Friday quoted Jumblatt as saying.

“There was already reconciliation in the Mountain in 2001 between me and Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir and in the presence of an FPM representative,” added Jumblatt, without elaborating further.

Deliberations during the upcoming meeting with Aoun will focus on the PSP and FPM’s efforts to ensure the return of the displaced, said Jumblatt. He reiterated that the FPM is an important party to both the nation and the Mountain.
