Al-Mustaqbal: Aoun-Sfeir meeting currently not being discussed
iloubnan.info - November 19, 2009
BEIRUT-In an interview with Al-Mustaqbal newspaper published on Thursday, a Free Patriotic Movement source denied reports on a possible meeting between Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir and FPM leader MP Michel Aoun, stressing that “such a step is currently not being discussed.”

However, a source close to Bkirki said that the delay in holding the meeting was due to the two parties’ divergent points of view, adding that the meeting, “if it takes place,” will strive to improve the soured relations between Aoun and Sfeir.
