Hamadeh sees victory for majority in new cabinet
iloubnan.info - November 07, 2009

BEIRUT – MP Marwan Hamadeh, perceived in the new national unity cabinet, a victory to the majority despite what's been rumored. Interviewed on Voice of Lebanon radio station early today, MP Hamadeh attributed the present breakthrough in the stalemate a conduit to Lebanese-Lebanese accord. He indicated that the recent Saudi-Syrian rapprochement no doubt helped bring about a degree of accord between the majority and the opposition.

With reference to Michel Aoun's consent to join the cabinet, MP Hamadeh commented that the General at last found it in his interests to let the cabinet pass. He also pointed to the fact that an electoral candidate who already failed to be elected was appointed to hold a major portfolio.
