BEIRUT- After meeting with Public Works and Transport Minister Ghazi al-Aridi on Wednesday, Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said he is unaware of there being any meeting Tuesday night between Telecommunications Minister Gebran Bassil and Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

He said that his party is working on resolving all obstacles impeding the cabinet formation to reach a solution acceptable for all parties.“All I know is that communication is ongoing to soon reach an agreement on a national-unity cabinet,” he added.

Hajj Hassan also added that a few more points still need to be resolved during deliberations. “The external factors that impeded the cabinet formation have perhaps faded away, while domestic problems still hamper it,” he said.
