Chamoun is convinced that no one can reach south of Litani without Hezbollah’s Knowledge
iloubnan.info - January 10, 2009
BEIRUT- In an interview with Al-Mustaqbal newspaper on Saturday, National Liberal Party head Dory Chamoun said that everything indicates that the stability in south of Lebanon is not on a good level adding that, he was convinced that it was impossible for anyone to reach south of the Litani River without Hezbollah’s Knowledge.

Chamoun also brought up the issue of the Palestinian arms outside of the refugee camps and judged the matter to remain an obstacle for Lebanon. Chamoun said that this issue should be handled in order for Lebanon to have a stable security.

On the other hand Chamoun said that there is still a Syrian intent to prevent Lebanon from reaching any type of stability and stated that it was possible that Syria might be behind the rockets launched from South of Lebanon into the Israeli grounds.
