BEIRUT – The general coordinator of March 14 forces Fares Souaid warned on Friday that Lebanon may risk to be lead to the unknown and the 1701 UNSC resolution to collapse if the security stability in South Lebanon was harmed.

Speaking to the Lebanese Forces official website, Souaid said he fears that Hamas had rejected the UNSC resolution 1860 in order to be at the same level as some leaders have done, hurriedly, when resolution 1701 was issued claiming it was completely unfair.

Souaid, however, confirmed that March 14 coalition gives priority to the security of all Lebanese above all and that both the Lebanese and the Palestinian people are not passports to improve the conditions of the ongoing Syrian-Israeli negotiations and the Iranian-American ones.
