BEIRUT - In an interview with as-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper on Friday, Progressive Socialist Party bloc leader MP Walid Jumblatt said that Thursday’s rocket-launching from Lebanon into Israel only emphasized the importance of implementing the recommendations of the national dialogue.

Jumblatt called for solving the problem of the so- “called Palestinian” arms, in general and outside the refugee camps in particular, because it would jeopardize Lebanese security and stability especially in the South.

He added that some Arab allied-states were bothered by the role carried out by some regional countries, and for that reason the former was attempting to intervene in the Gaza crisis, which would have negative repercussions on Lebanese stability and security in the South.
