BEIRUT- Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea met with MP Robert Ghanem on Tuesday for an hour where Ghanem stated, “It was an occasion to discuss the latest events in the region and what could be done”.
Ghanem hailed Geagea’s statement that all Lebanese leaders and parties particularly Hezbollah are aware of the dangers of the period. Ghanem considered what is happening in Gaza to be crimes of war and must be dealt with as soon as possible by the Arab League where they must take a unified stand. Ghanem called on the United Nations to also take a stand and make a decision until the massacres are stopped.
Ghanem stressed on the importance of a unified Lebanese stand in this critical stage which the region is undergoing and the importance of the coming parliamentary elections on June 7.
