BEIRUT- Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt met with Democratic Party Chief Talal Arslan on Monday evening and discussed the situation in Gaza in a family dinner in Khalde.
Tuesday reports said that following the meeting, Jumblatt emphasized on the importance for a unified Lebanese stand over Gaza. While Arslan, was reported to stress on a unified stand “in the wake of the remarkable U.N. absence”.
Jumblatt also slammed the Israelis for not learning from the 2006 war with Lebanon, and revealed that the meeting with Hezbollah was only delayed for tactical reasons but will take place soon.
