BEIRUT- French President Nicolas Sarkozy will travel Tuesday to Beirut, where he will meet Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri. On Tuesday afternoon, he will be in southern Lebanon to send his greetings to the French contingent of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Mr Sarkozy is scheduled to visit Egypt, the West Bank and Israel, Syria and Lebanon as part of his tour in the Middle East, announced Wednesday the Elysée.
