BEIRUT- In an interview with Russia Today TV Progressive Socialist Party Leader Walid Jumblatt stated that, "it would be stupid for some to convey their hesitation over arming and strengthening the Lebanese army defenses".

On the other hand Jumblatt confirmed that the United States have promised to supply Lebanon with modern tanks, but Lebanon doesn’t have enough funds to purchase them.
