BEIRUT- Democratic Gathering bloc MP Marwan Hamadeh addressed the parliament on Wednesday and told those who are calling for amending the Taif accord, “to Beware of falling into the trap of the tripartite distribution of power”.

Hamadeh stated that “The naturalization of the Palestinians begins from Qusaya and Naame that are Palestinian bases outside the Palestinian refugee camps” adding that, “We want to liberate Gaza, not besiege Lebanon, and we want the unification of Iraq, not the division of Lebanon”.

Hamadeh also warned against turning Lebanon into a state where the government is divided between Sunnis, Shiites and Christians instead of the fair equal sharing of the government.
