BEIRUT - Information minister Tarek Mitri said on Wednesday that competency and religious communities’ parts must be taken into consideration in the administrative and judiciary nominations. Speaking after he met with Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir in Bkirki, he praised the stances of Sfeir mainly concerning the Lebanese-Syrian relations and Taef Agreement. Mitri said political issues reach their true value and importance “when raised with his Excellency”.
Answering a question, Mitri underscored the necessity of commitment to Doha Agreement decisions.
