Ghanem: Lebanese-Syrian relations are inevitable but boundaries must be set
iloubnan.info - November 27, 2008, 11h43

BEIRUT - MP Robert Ghanem is certain that Syrian-Lebanese relations are inevitable. However, the Special Tribunal on former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s assassination is no longer related to bilateral relations as it will not change the fact that Syria and Lebanon are geographically close and have common interests. Talking on Future Television on Wednesday, he also addressed the issue of upcoming parliamentary elections and said that the polls showed that there will be no big difference between March 14 and 8.
