BEIRUT- MP Michel Aoun insists that the Taef Accord is not infallible and calls for its amendment “it is not a holy book; there should be no problem in amending it” he said a after a meeting with members of his Change and Reform Bloc at his home in Rabiyeh.
Aoun wants "official and public apology" from the Phalange Party for blaming him for the death of Industry Minister Pierre Gemayel in 2006. The MP also believes the international investigation committee does not have evidence to justify the apprehension of the four generals charged with involvement in the assassination of former Premier Rafik Hariri. He calls for their release.
