BEIRUT - In an interview to a daily newspaper on Wednesday, Change and Reform bloc MP Walid Khoury said that it is still too to predict and discuss the coarseness of the Christian rivals for the coming 2009 parliamentary elections. Khoury said it is too early also to speak of any Christian electoral alliances.

On the other hand Khoury declared that there is nothing keeping the Free Patriotic Movement from having an alliance with MP Michel Murr in Metn since there are no personal dispute among Aoun and Murr. Khoury ended by stating that what makes General Michel Aoun different from any other Lebanese politician is his transparency and “putting all his cards on the table”.

Khoury added that polls showed the FPM was still ahead in Christian regions, but he added that the election results could not be speculated since anything could still happens.
