BEIRUT - Prime Minister Siniora expressed his support and the support of the cabinet on Monday for Telecommunications Minister Gebran Basil for executing the government’s last decision in regards to the cellular matter.

In a meeting with Commerce Chamber committee, Siniora stressed on "the importance of the coming era that the country has been undergoing since the Doha Agreement and forming a new national government."

Prime Minister added that "regardless to the current disputes and disagreements among other parties and politicians, every matter has been discussed in the cabinet in an effort to protect the institutions and find a decent exit for what is the best for the country and its people."

Adding that, “we have noticed the last week many discussions were at stake but the cabinet has proven that all matters are negotiable under the auspice of the government including the case of the cellulars”.
