BEIRUT - Responding to allegations of divisions among the Fatah movement, Secretary General of the Palestinian faction Sultan Abu al-Aynayn said they were stronger than ever. This was during a ceremony in the UNESCO Building to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the death of former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. Abu al-Aynayn called for unity among all Palestinian people and said all Palestinian groups have participated in the effort to arrest those who breached security in Lebanon. 

Many political and military figures attended the ceremony, among them Fatah secretary-general in South Lebanon, Khaled Aref; General Salah Fadlallah, a representative of the Lebanese army commander; and Hezbollah representative, former Minister Trad Hamadeh.
