Following the reports that the lebanese interior Minister Ziad Baroud arrived to Damascus for his first official visit to Syria to discuss security issues with his counterpart Bassam Abdul Majid Progressive Socialist Party Leader Mp Walid Jumblatt criticizes indirectly this move and warns Baroud of such step.

MP Walid Jumblatt stated a warning to the Lebanese ministers visiting Damascus against forming joint security committees to avoid “granting Syria the chance to interfere in Lebanese affairs again.”
