Sarkis condemns Hezbolla's presence in Sanine
By George Eid | iloubnan.info - July 04, 2008
BEIRUT - Tourism Minister Joe Sarkis in a conversationto  Al-Sharq al-Awsat daily, explained that  that the recent arrests of Lebanese youths in Sannine by Hezbollah members is a sign of the party’s “dangerous expansion across Lebanese soil”

And considered it as a part of its  “plan to conquer the country through undemocratic ways.”

“The party has nothing to do in this region, and its presence is illegal. Only the state and its security services have the right to deploy there. In addition, Mount Sannine is very far from Israel, therefore, the party cannot claim it as a strategic spot," he added.
