In good shape thanks to shiatsu
Shiatsu is a therapeutic massage that has first developed in Japan. Literally, shiatsu means in Japanese "pressure with fingers"". He presses on acupuncture points, certainly, without any needles.
These pressures on the meridian points help activate what the Chinese medicine calls vital energy.
This massage can be practiced easily: you can keep your clothes on and be pampered on the ground! This massage duration, according to the institutes, is 45 min for a coast between € 38 and 54 per session. Shiatsu is one of the 8 alternative approaches nominated in 1997 by the European parliament as "A non conventional worthy medicine". Currently, it is taught and practiced with the respect of professional and strict regulations controlled by several authorities according to each country, (in France, controlled by the French Federation of the Traditional Shiatsu).
Benefits
The shiatsu is an effective treatment for stress, exhaustion, headache, digestive disorders, and sleeping or alimentation disorders.
Contraindications
Do not practice it in case of lesions or inflammations. Shiatsu is not recommended during pregnancy.
Cost
between € 38 and 54 depending on institutes. There are some shorter cheaper sessions. As the shiatsu does not need taking clothes off or using oils, some companies have suggested it to their employees during their working day for an anti-stress break.
