First of all, lighting sources should be multiplied. A big room cannot only have one source of light: this would ruin the entire “personal” atmosphere. However, numerous lighting spots should be installed here and there in order to increase shadows, divide the room in a better way, and create a real ambiance.

Beware; the lighting power should also be limited because an excess of lighting could decrease the volume of the space. The ideal is to plan one different lighting source for the numerous spots of the same room. Therefore, each lamp will have a different function.
