On Sunday October 8th, 2006, last day of Paris fashion week, the Lebanese designer Elie Saab unveiled his ready-to-wear creations for spring-summer 2007 at the Carrousel du Louvre. His golden collection was a celebration of the sun of Beirut, and a real « ode to the renaissance » of Lebanon, a « tribute » to this country devastated by the war of July-August.
