For Georges Chakra, the spring – summer 2007 fashion will mainly consist of short and geometrical dresses, in pastel and metallic hues. Mini babydoll dresses (reinforced by the curly and bouffant hair of the doll-like models), mini-shorts and short-length tunics and coats. The very short cocktail dresses are made of pastel colored clouds of chiffon, punctuated with bright flashes, fluorescent yellow or fuchsia. In addition to these creations that barely get to the backside, the new collection of Georges Chakra includes overall trousers with sequined fronts, sleeveless, asymmetric or square low-cut long dresses, with very stylish low backs, brand image of the house.
The spring-summer 2007 collection is sparkling with Duchess metallic silk and golden lamé. The lace embroidered with bronze threads is lightly shaded off in the pearly pinkish beige. Geometric embroideries around square low necklines of enameled mini-palettes, oblong sparkling strass, pearly sequins and transparent crystals add sparkle to this collection described by the famous lingerie designer Chantal Thomass as « absolutely marvelous».
