PARIS – Elie Saab’s ready to wear spring summer collection, during the fashion week in Paris, was light and coloured. A bouquet of flowers painted « En plein air » in vibrant pastel shades of hydrangea blue, daffodil or almond blossom green and all shades of lilac, spring rose and palest stone. Gathered from the freshness of the garden of Giverny.

Shapes are ultra-short or long and fluid. Some are embroidered with bold motifs, others feature tone-on-tone geometric abstractions, prints of interlaced branched, a flower bed of embroidery or a field of petals.

Key pieces include suits, knit dresses and the perfect sheer gowns.
