Ragheb Alameh to represent Persol
iloubnan.info - August 29, 2008

According to the Fibre 2 fashion magazine, the Lebanese super star Ragheb Alama is the brand ambassador for the new Persol sunglasses collection

Persol partners with Ragheb Alama as the brand ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa. As part of its regional marketing strategy to promote its new collection, Persol, the Italian luxury eyewear brand, chose leading Arabic singing superstar, Ragheb Alama, as the brand ambassador for Middle East and North Africa.

Mr. Marco Bonapace, manager in the Middle East area, said, "We are proud to introduce superstar Ragheb Alama as the brand ambassador for our new Persol collection in 2008.

Ragheb is one of the most talented and highly regarded music artists in the Middle East and has emerged as a role model for the Middle East audience. We strongly believe that the association between Ragheb and Persol represents the perfect match to convey the brand's values to the end consumer".

Ragheb Alama is the perfect endorser for Persol as he represents a style icon with a strong personality as the Italian eyewear brand Persol has. Moreover, one of his strongest success, the song "Nasseny Eldonia" (make me forget the world) was one of the greatest hits an Arab singer ever made and the video was shot in Italy.

Persol is a handmade in Italy design eyewear brand with exclusive quality & design heritage. It represents an icon of "Style with Substance" and it is the choice of those IN THE KNOW. PERSOL was born in Turin (Italy) in 1917.

Its evocative name was aptly derived from the Italian "per il sol", meaning "for the sun". It is a brand of eyewear that inherits and marries a culture of excellence, due to the attention paid to detail during production, a perfect alchemy between aesthetics and technology.
