According to the French economic journal Economie Matin in its issue dated January 24, a 50% growth is expected for the boutiques of Elie Saab in 2007. While the imminent opening of the Parisian boutique of the Lebanese famous designer is expected on the prestigious roundabout of the Champs Elysées, talks are circulating about the inauguration of a boutique in London or New York end of 2007. Two other boutiques should follow in other fashion capitals in the course of 2008. The article continues stating that the turnover of Elie Saab’s enterprises, which comprise 200 employees, increases by 40% per year mainly thanks to his Parisian showroom and to the world celebrities who wear his creations. The ready to wear collection represents 40% of the company’s activities while the haute couture takes 60 %.
