Environment- Tenth “Grande Bleue “operation

Cedars for Care association organized yesterday its tenth “Grande Bleue” operation for the clean up of the Lebanese littoral, in co-operation with a certain number of ecological associations and with the Lebanese army which deployed its plungers, its special naval forces, as well as a helicopter, boats and a certain number of equipment.

The president of association, Effat Idriss Chatila, started the operation at Raouché, in presence of the deputy Mohammad Kabbani, the president of the municipality of Beirut, Abdel Meneem Ariss, the general Nazih Rahbani, representing the commander in chief of the army, the general Michel Sleimane, the representative of the Department of the Environment, Antoine Ghorayeb, and of the president of the popular Help, Imad Accaoui.
