Haifa raising an uproar while shooting
iloubnan.info - October 17, 2008, 19h18

Haifa Wehbe attracted large crowds in Egypt when news leaked of the location where she is filming her first Egyptian movie Dikkan Shahata.

The famous Egyptian director Khaled Yousif had to seek the help of the Egyptian police to control a large crowd gathered at the site of his newest film “Dokan Shahateh” (Shahateh’s Supermarket), trying to catch a glimpse of the leading star the Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbe. The crowd forced filming to stop for a few hours.
Sources claim the incident occurred when Haifa was filming her scenes at a Villa in the “Al Maadi” area located south of Cairo. Somehow the news was leaked to the public and large crowds started surrounding the villa, hoping to see Haifa donned in local Egyptian attire for the shoot. Several lucky fans were able to get autographs from Haifa despite the chaos.
