BEIRUT - The Lebanese performing artist Carole Samaha has been nominated this year for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 in Liverpool, England at Echo Arena on the 26th of November.

This nomination acknowledged the great and multiple talents that this Lebanese singer has so far shown all throughout her performances in the music scene. It is known that the MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA) is one of the most prestigious awards given to artists from around the world and is named the biggest event awaited throughout the year. International artists compete to get into the spotlight at the EMA.

Carole is nominated for best MTV Arabia New Act where she will be competing with other nominated stars from the Arab world however the online voting on http://ema.mtva.com will decide to whom the award goes to.
