BEIRUT - The Steering Committee of the General Directorate for Development Cooperation (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) has officially approved on Monday a substantial package of new development initiatives for a total amount of 4.800.000 Euros.
The four projects are respectively:
1- Implementation of the project “Application of the National Public Health Policy Concerning Maternal-Infant Care”, for a total amount of 1.300.000 Euros, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health.
2- Implementation of the project “Optimization and Strengthening of the Touristic Offer of Baalbeck and the Higher Bekaa”, for a total amount of 200.000 Euros.
3- Contribution to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the framework of the project “Water Table Map of Lebanon”, for a total amount of 1.800.000 Euros.
4- Contribution to the United National Industrial Development Program (UNIDO) in the framework of the Project “Community Empowerment and Livelihoods Enhancement Project”, for a total amount of 1.480.000 Euros.
