BEIRUT - While quoting Future bloc sources, the Lebanese daily As-Safir said on Monday that Siniora’s meeting in Tripoli would focus on the following issues : completing reconciliation in the city, compensating citizens for the losses they suffered during the fighting, imposing security, and seeing development and economic projects through. The reconstruction of Bab al-Tabbaneh, an initiative adopted during former PM Omar Karami’s term, is part of those projects. 

The Lebanese Prime Minister is to meet on Monday with Tripoli officials, syndicate members, municipality members, and Christian and Muslim religious leaders to discuss the security, political, economic and social conditions in the city. This meeting is supposed to help end the violence in Tripoli.
