BEIRUT - Environment Minister, Antoine Karam, concerning the next Lebanese army commander, declared that “His Excellency the president is a military man and knows the exact specifications the next commander should have”. 

Karam said the security situation across Lebanese was “unacceptable” and emphasized that “all weapons outside the framework of legitimacy should be discussed around the national dialogue table.”
