Television : Currently Seven television stations broadcast from Beirut.
Written Press: There are officially 13 daily newspapers in Lebanon (including 1 French and 1 English), and nearly 40 periodicals (weekly, monthly magazines…)
Radios: Nearly 35 local stations broadcast on the FM frequency out of which around 8 are of “1st category”, i.e. they have the right to broadcast political programs, whereas the others are limited to musical varieties and the leisure programs. This structure exists since 1990, when the government reorganized the sector.
