LSA group: a unique rising academic project in hospitality servicesLebanese night life has been rising enormously in the past few years in the Hospitality and tourism sector. However, this business still holds some gaps in the service offered by local restaurants and staff. Therefore, the Lebanese Systematic Academy (LSA) has launched a very interesting project which consists of training all the needed staff for a successful restaurant or club, starting from the Valet to the management.

LSA is a group of young Lebanese businessmen working in the hospitality service for many years now. The group members witnessed the flaws in the service offered by many restaurants, pubs, and night clubs, and they are currently opening their first academic office in Beirut to give a complete training for the following services: Bartending art of mixing cocktails, waiters’ service and savoir vivre, table service etiquette, music mixing, and soon, hostesses and valet parking training.

When asked about the main motive of launching such an academic project, one of the cofounders of LSA, Andre Malak, answered the following, “we always wanted to open such a company, since whenever a pub needed staff they used to contact us and ask us to train them, therefore, we thought, why not make it more professional and widen the business?”.

The goal of this company is to provide the fully qualified employees for the finest service and ameliorate the tourism and hospitality sector. However the CEOs explain that they will also be helping the students obtain the best job offers and no longer remain working for the worst conditions nor for terrible salaries. “Once the student is accepted in LSA group, he will be instantly trained until he is ready, then we instantly make him sign a contract deal to a working vacancy in one of the companies we are dealing with, so the offspring of such a project is a win-win situation for everyone”.
