Tehran offers 100 million dollars to rebuild a road in South Lebanon
iloubnan.info - August 12, 2008

BEIRUT - Iran will finance the reconstruction of an 80-kilometer road in South Lebanon, after an agreement between the development and reconstruction council and the Iranian authority for the reconstruction of Lebanon.

The targeted road crosses 19 cities and villages in Nakoura, Marjayoun. Tehran should pay an amount of 100 million dollars to repair this road.

The help proposed by Iran aims at decreasing the impact of the July 2006 war. The Lebanese Iranian projects have to do with the reconstruction of bridges, roads, hospitals, schools, and clinics.
Tehran also plans to repair the electricity in the war affected villages.
