Lebanese artist Elaine Lahood is singing for the first time in the Lebanese dialectafter being known to perform and excel in French and English track songs.
For her first Arabic song “Habook Ouyouni” (my eyes loved you), Elaine worked with the song writer Amro, , music composer Haitham Ziad and the music distributer Toni Saba for arrangement. Elaine also worked with the director Walid Nasif for the upcoming music video clip for the song.
Elaine said that she is very happy to sing in Arabic for the first time, noting that many artists are afraid to do so when they shift from western to eastern style music.
Being raised in musical family where her mother Salwa Al Qatrib was an artist herself and her uncle was a director, made it easier for her to bring out her talents, said Elaine.
Elaine’s success has surprised many, and she now she trying to prove to her fans that she can master different styles of music.
