Not for Public, the latest play by Hisham Jaber will be taking place the 4,5,6 and 11,12,13 of September 2008 at Al Madina theater, Saroulla bldg., Hamra.

Hisham Jaber is known for his previous plays such as The Story of Najib Brax's death (2005), • Arabic bread (2005), Solo (2003) and Cola Barbir Mathaf Dawra (2002).

The performance adopts the format of a reality TV show. Two candidates, Rania and Roberto, compete for the title of best actor/actress; throughout the performance, the two candidates are assigned various acting tasks by the director. The audience is regularly asked to vote for their favorite candidate against a small fee, and the winner gets 5,000 Euros while the loser is executed in public.

The performance is held for an hour a day, three consecutive days during which Rania and Roberto will be competing in front of the same audience.The play is written, directed by Hisham Jabere along Rania Rafei and Wissam Dalati as cast.
